July 2010 - Mas Solers Galadinner
At the beginning of July, Factor3 delivered the gala dinner production, decoration and entertainment for 500 insurance brokers from Singapore.
The event took place at Mas Solers and featured an original flamenco set designed in-house with back-lit flamenco silhouettes in motion with veejay projections. The event was an enormous success.
June 2010 - Incentive Groups in Southern Spain
A German bank took two groups to La Linea de la Concepcion in Southern Spain in June.
Factor3 collaborated with Quasar to help organise all transfers, visits to Gibraltar and Tarifa, and a mountain bike tour by the sea.
The group also took a trip to Marbella where they enjoyed a spot of shopping.
June 2010 - Car Launch during 8 weeks
Factor3 recently designed a deejay/ Spanish guitar show for a 34 - performance season in Sitges for the attendees at the launch of a new European model.
The 2-hour show has been very popular with the guests.
June 2010 - International IT company - Barcelona
In late June, Factor 3 played host to a small IT group in collaboration with Grass Roots (UK). Factor3 arranged all transfers and a gala dinner on the terrace of the hotel Arts with fine cuisine provided by Arola Catering.
June 2010 - HID Global - Madrid
In June, Factor3 provided the ground services for a group of 35 guests from HID Global. On the first night they enjoyed a group dinner at the restaurant Rincón de Goya and on the following day they enjoyed a series of gastronomic activites at the Antiguo Convento de Boadilla del Monte.
June 2010 - Barcelona Incentive
In early June Factor3 and Ivents (Mallorca) played host to 60 guests from a large petroleum group in Barcelona. The guests stayed at the Arts hotel, where they enjoyed a welcome buffet by the pool accompanied by the dulcet tones of Nikol Kollars.
The following day they enjoyed a programme of tailor-made tours followed by lunch and a gala dinner and dance at the beautiful Castillo de Santa Florentina.
May 2010 - Juniper Event - W Barcelona
In May, Juniper Networks brought 320 international partners to Barcelona for the annual meeting.
The event took place at the hotel W, where the guests enjoyed a two-day meeting and gala dinner on the Away terrace, a space that had never been used for such a large event.
After dinner and a short awards ceremony, guests moved to the party terrace to enjoy the sultry sounds of the beautiful Nikol Kollars and her deejay. Many of the guests got their groove on; quite a feat for a heavily male audience.
May 2010 - World Cup 2010 Barcelona – 1000 pax
At the beginning of May, Factor3 Events collaborated with Know-How Event & Marketing Agentur to organise all of the ground arrangements for a 1000-strong international IT training meeting.
This included hotel bookings and room management, liaison with the CCIB conference centre for the many scheduled meetings, and a number of dinners; principally a gala event for 800 people that took place at Opium Mar and a 500-strong buffet at the Hilton hotel.
The event was a huge success.
May 2010 - AIDA Cruise Excursions
In collaboration with our partner Ivents, Factor 3 organised the logistics for the 950 passengers of the cruise AIDABELLA, invited by one of the largest German financial establishments.
The guests chose between 5 different tour options and were accompanied in total by 22 of our German speaking guides who showed them the city, using 8 double-decker buses as well as 9 deluxe coaches.
The participants had a great day in Barcelona.
April 2010 - Xynteo - Incentive
In April, Xyntéo, an international strategic advisory firm brought a group of 50 guests to Barcelona.
The attendees stayed at the lovely Miramar hotel and enjoyed a selection of fun activities, including a tapas cook-off at La Disfruteria, a wine tasting contest at a rustic venue in the old town and a boules tournament in the garden of the hotel.
The guests also enjoyed dinner at Set Portes and Can Travi.
May 2010 - Cleverbridge Software - Madrid
At the beginning of May, Factor3 - together with the German agency KPP Events - accommodated a group of 46 guests from Cleverbridge at the ME hotel in Madrid.
On day 1 the clients held a meeting at Torre Espacio on La Castellana avenue where Factor3 created a contemporary look by bringing in stylish furniture. The group also enjoyed lunch at the venue on the 33rd floor, with wonderful views over the capital city and the hills beyond.
On day 2, the guests moved to the Antiguo Convento de Boadilla for small round table meetings in the hotel suites followed by a tasty buffet on the terrace.
March 2010 - Philips Barcelona - 120 pax
In mid-March, Factor3 collaborated with Russian agency Summit Management to provide the ground arrangement for a group from Philips.
The guests enjoyed their gala dinner at Can Magi, complete with a flamenco show, as well as an informal dinner at Solo restaurant club. The latter coincided with CSK Moscow’s defeat of Seville in the Champion’s Cup, so the guests were naturally very happy.
April 2010 - EAU Congress Barcelona - 250 pax
In mid-April, Factor3 worked with Grass Roots (UK) to manage all the requirements of a large pharmaceutical company attending the EAU congress. This included all transfers, many country dinners at restaurants around the city and an industry dinner at the MNAC.
The real challenge was getting people home after the Icelandic volcanic eruption that left many stranded. The furthest transfer went to Russia.
January 2010 - Meeting Barcelona - 700 pax
During the last week of January, Factor3 worked closely with Grass Roots to organise the logistics for an international Pharma Meeting taking place in Barcelona with 700 participants.
Factor3 arranged all of the local transportation for the guests, ranging from airport transfers to the 5 different hotels, shuttle transfers between those hotels, as well as several dine-arounds. The main dinner for all 700 guests took place at the lovely catalan country houses Can Travi Nou and Can Cortada.
Last minute changes with logistics were the main challenge for this event, which was managed with good teamwork and effort and all guests enjoyed their stay in the city.
October 2009 - Barcelona Meeting - Gusto 200 pax
At the beginning of October, Factor3 worked with Gusto from the UK to deliver a two-day programme and meeting at the ME hotel Barcelona. We provided the normal services of transfers and dinners, along with a selection of VIP tours, including golf, a catamaran tour and a winery visit.
We also transformed a meeting room into a zen massage space, designed and made the creative centrepieces for the gala dinner and wrote the script and delivered a satirical castanet class as an ice-breaker. Our clients parting commment? “Thanks once again to Factor 3 and their fantastic service, absolutely incredible work and cannot wait to work with you again”
September 2009 - Blackbridge
In September, Blackbridge Communications brought 50 of their best partners to Barcelona in September. They stayed at the Miramar hotel where they enjoyed a welcome buffet. The weekend programme included a lunch at the Barceloneta restaurant, a gala dinner at Santa Florentina Castle (totally beautiful) and a farewell lunch at Sal Café. The sun shone throughout and the guests had a fantastic weekend.
September 2009 - Cardiology Congress Barcelona
Each year Factor3 organises several transfers and dinner events for different pharma companies assisting the Cardiology congress in Barcelona.
This year we can specially mention 3 dinner functions for 120-150 pax from Daiichy Sankyo Germany and Austria, as well as a sightseeing programme including dinners for Takeda and Sanofi Switzerland.
August 2009 - Fujifilm Press Conference Valencia
This August 2009, Factor 3 collaborated with Quasar incentive agency from Germany to organise the press conference for the new FUJIFILM digital camera launch. The 40 journalists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland stayed at the Westin Valencia, and the presentation took place at the Las Arenas Hotel.
During their stay in Valencia, they had time to test the cameras during a catamaran trip along the coastline, a segway activity through the spectacular City of Arts and Sciences and at the dinner locations overlooking the city.
All in all a good mix of impressions and great fun!
July 2009 - Flight Center
In July, CiCreate brought 2500 fun-hungry guests to Barcelona for a whistle-stop meeting over 48 hours. Factor3 provided many sets for the main stage as well as the lion’s share of the entertainment. The highlights of this were Elektroflamenco, a 5-minute original dance piece set to a pounding club track that was remixed in-house. In all, a totally bespoke show. The guests loved it.
Earlier on, the meeting was openend by a 3-minute cajon piece performed by 7 players which had the audience jumping out of their seats. The event was closed by Simon P, our favourite vjay, who kept the crowd dancing til 3am. What a marathon!!
July 2009 - HP Incentive Barcelona
In collaboration with German and Dubai based agency Know How, Factor 3 organised a special incentive trip for HP. The participants came from the Middle East and most of them had never been to Barcelona before.
They really enjoyed a varied sightseeing and activity programme with (Barcelona Gocar tour, a Trencadis workshop, a chocolate workshop, Tapas tasting etc.) and specially the final paella activity and dinner in a private wine cellar in Alella.
The event was a great success!
June 2009 - Techdata Barcelona
Together with Creative Events Agency, Factor 3 organised a meeting and incentive programme for HP and Techdata SOT. The participants came from all over Europe and stayed at the Hotel Miramar Barcelona, the perfect hotel for a small meeting.
In the evenings they enjoyed a dinner at the harbour as well as a beach party in Castelldefels after a number of beach activities including beach volleyball, kayaking and sailing.
Despite the heavy rain in between, they had really great fun!
June 2009 - Linklaters Retreat Barcelona
For this event Factor3 organised a sangria challenge in the hotel Skipper. The 100 guests had to answer questions in order to find the trail of the different ingredients that make up this wonderful drink!!
Later on that evening the group enjoyed a delicious dinner and great views at the Miramar restaurant.
May 2009 - Raiffeisen Mallorca
This May 2009, Factor3 organised together with our partner Ivents a weekend trip for our Austrian client Raiffeisen. The participants got to know the city of Palma with a very entertaining tapas rally and they also enjoyed lovely dinners in the city and on the beach.
May 2009 - Juniper Event Alicante
This year Juniper Networks decided to take their partners to the Barcelo Asia Gardens hotel outside Alicante.
Factor3 managed all the hotel and meeting logistics for this 300-strong event. The guests loved the venue and were thinking of repeating in 2010, until we came up with an even better option……
May 2009 - Petroleum Company - Llotja
For this event, Factor3 teamed up with Opus from the UK to provide a top quality jazz trio for an informal dinner at the Rey Juan Carlos hotel and a bespoke flamenco set for the gala dinner.
The three-act flamenco piece was inspired by West Side story and involved 11 dancers and 4 musicians in total. The show received a standing ovation from the guests.
April 2009 - Akzo Nobel Incentive Seville
Factor3 organised a special incentive trip for 120 employees and clients from an international Pharma company. The participants stayed at the 5 star hotel Alfonso XIII, where the welcome dinner took place.
They got to know the city during a very entertaining photo rallye with costumes, and the spanish tapas during a dine-around evening in 7 different restaurants.
After a nice lunch in the vineyards of Jerez the following day, the galadinner took place at the wonderful Casa Pilatos, where guests arrived in 28 horse carriages. The musical entertainment was a flamenco show designed specially for the occasion. The event was a great success!

Technology Incentive 800 pax
In April, Factor3 worked with George P Johnson
(UK) to provide entertainment and decoration for two 800-strong parties
at Drassanes and MNAC. The event at Drassanes was a Spanish fiesta
night called “Celebremos”: Castellers, rumba group “Sabor de Gracia”,
roaming muscians and characterised actors, and last but definitely
not least, flamenco all-female quintet Mala Sangre, kept the group
amused all night long. Floral and hand-crafted decor was provided
by our trusty team and the fabulous buffet by our great catering partners.
Factor3 was also involved in the Welcome Breakfast at the ARTS hotel,
where we provided the floral displays, a rumba band, and Gaudi-inspired
decoration.
We also set-up a meeting with the Carreras Foundation
that led to a breakfast talk by the man himself.
April 2009 - Lexus Car Launch
In April, Factor3 designed the flamenco reveal for the launch of the new Lexus at Mas Bonvilar. The five-minute reveal was a completely original piece, involving Spanish guitar played over a flamenco-inspired piece and a single dancer performing a sensual choreography to reveal the new model to the audience.
The piece was performed over the course of 9 nights.
March 2009 - Dell Madrid
Factor 3 worked with Events That Matter to organise a 1500-strong party for one of America’s largest IT companies.
The party took place at Macumba, where everyone enjoyed a lovely standing buffet and a great performance by Abba tribute band Bjorn Again.
February 2009 - Activities in Alella
At the beginning of February Factor 3 created an activity afternoon & evening for an international pharmaceutical company.
The 120 participants enjoyed wine tasting, paella cooking and a very interactive drumming session followed by dinner in a Catalan country house in Alella. All in all, an unforgettable evening!
February 2009 - High Deal at Mobile World Congress
For the past three years, Factor3 has worked with Paris-based company High Deal. This year we provided an intimate meeting and events space for them in the form of Gild International.
Gild is a lovely private business club over two floors in central Barcelona with a selection of smart meeting spaces, bar and restaurant zone. The client meeting was followed by canapés and drinks in the lounge. A lovely, relaxed environment for doing business.
February 2009 - Jack Morton at Mobile World Congress
This year Factor3 worked with Jack Morton (UK) to provide the entertainment, flowers and sculptures for the area of one of the world’s most important suppliers of telecommunication equipment.
The client hosted three events on each of the three nights for which Factor3 provided entertainment ranging from a-capella singers to hip-hop flamenco not to forget Latin Big Band, La Sucursal, who performed a song with Jamie Cullum.
Our team also helped decorate the area with bespoke sculptures, trees, flowers and a wide range of furniture and props. The event was an enormous success.
January 2009 - Cisco
In January, Factor3 collaborated with George P Johnson UK to provide the keynote speech opener and entertainment for the main party at Fira2.
The entertainment for the opening speech was provided by 6 ribbon dancers performing a beautiful choreographed piece to music while the main party was a much more urban affair featuring acrodunker basketball allstars and Stigmato Inc on the main stage, among others.
November 2008 - Wates Weekend Madrid
At the beginning of November, Factor3 Events worked with Mirage to deliver a luxury weekend in Madrid for Wates, a UK construction company. The group stayed at the Ritz and enjoyed a full programme of tours and activities, including a cookery class.
The gala dinner was held at the Palacio Fernan Nunez, and featured a performance by "The Strings of Life" a string instrument and dj ensemble, created espressly for the evening. The programme was a great success.
September - October 2008 - Ford Fiesta Launch Barcelona
Throughout September and at the beginning of October 2008, Factor3 worked closely with Maritz Europa Ltd to organise the European Dealer Launch of the new Ford Fiesta. Factor3 arranged all of the local transportation for the guests, who arrived in waves of 200 people per day, as well as a selection of dinners in Barcelona and entertainment for a number of gala dinners at the Hesperia Tower.
The month-long project was a great success with extremely high satisfaction rates from the delegates
October 2008 - Internationaler Deutscher Steuerberater Kongress 250 pax
At the beginning of October, Factor 3 was in charge of making individual hotel reservations for the more than 150 German tax advisers with spouses, attending the international tax adviser congress in Barcelona. Furthermore, many optional sightseeing tours were arranged in and outside Barcelona, as well as two dinners: the welcome dinner at the lovely courtyard of Museo Mares, as well as the galadinner with entertainment at the fantastic settings of Masia Egara countryhouse. The participants were completely overwhelmed with the extensive and interesting programme offered.
June 2008 - WIV President Club - Barcelona
At the middle of June, Factor 3 created an incentive programme for WIV Wein International for their best sales people worldwide. It included accommodation at the 5 star hotel Grand Marina as well as dinners at the best restaurants in town.
Furthermore the participants got to know the city as well as the catalan traditions by doing a city challenge, building human towers, dancing sardanas, creating their own trencadis etc. The enjoyable trip came to and end at the gala dinner and awards ceremony at the Spanish Village, where all participants also had a brilliant time.
June 2008 - Pharma Meeting in Alicante 360 pax
At the beginning of June, Factor3 worked with Maritz UK to organise various aspects of a 360-delegate pharmaceutical staff meeting in Alicante.
Factor3 managed all of the transfers, a dinearound at six restaurants in the nearby village of Altea and a teambuilding activity and dinner at the theme park, Terra Mitica. The feedback has been very positive.
May 2008 - T-Mobile Tour of Passion - Barcelona 700 pax
Together with the German agency Quasar, Factor 3 organised the logistics in Barcelona for the passengers of the cruise AIDA, invited by an international mobile company and coming from all over Europe. Two hop-on hop-off routes were specially designed for the participants, who enjoyed their day in Barcelona, using 5 double-decker buses as well as 13 deluxe buses to get to know the city. Furthermore, they were attended by around 50 local guides who gave them information about the sights and advice of what to do in the city.
March 2008 - Clearwinners Incentive
At the end of March, Factor3 worked with Concerto Live (UK) to organise a weekend incentive for 44 specialists from the events sector in the UK. The luxury trip included a flamenco dinner at Palau Moxo, a cruise to and lunch in Sitges, a high-altitude gala dinner at La Torre Collserola with transfers in vintage cars and a human tower and paella competition at La Masia Torreblanca. Great fun was had by all!
February 2008 - Incentive for B&Q in Barcelona 100 pax
At the end of February, Factor3 worked with the events team at a market leading UK retailer to provide an incentive programme for the winners of the company's recognition awards. Based at the ARTS hotel, the programme included a full menu of tours, offsite dinners and fun. The awards night took place at La Torre de los Leones where the group enjoyed a lovely private dinner with entertainment.
February 2008 - Gusto for 3i - WMC Congress - 100 pax
During Mobile World Congress 2008, Factor3 worked closely with Gusto Events (UK) to provide a whole range of services for 3i, the global venture capital and private equity firm.
These included transfers, different tours, a selection of dinners, event decorative support and entertainment. The 4-day event was a huge success.
February 2008 - WMC Congress - Ulticom
For another consecutive year, Factor 3 organised two cocktail parties for the US-based software company Ulticom during this year's WMC 2008.
Both Ulticom guests and staff were delighted with the outcome: a meeting and dinner in an elegant restaurant of the Eixample quarter, as well as a cocktail party with special decoration and jazz performance at an impressive location with wonderful views over Barcelona.
January 2008 - Cisco Networkers - German Night x 500 pax
Together with Cisco Systems Germany, Factor 3 organised the German Night Party during the Networkers Congress in Barcelona, on 21st January 2008.
The 500 guests enjoyed a Mediterranean night at the terrace and inside Sala Maremagnum, with nice views over the city. An abundant buffet dinner followed by a short flamenco performance and many well mixed cocktails created a very good atmosphere!
